Change in Support Desk hours.
Following a recent review of the Help Desk call statistics, it has been decided to amend the Help Desk hours to:
Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:30pm
The new hours will be effective week commencing Monday 30th June 2008.

EPS Phase 2 - Release Plan

Our EPS Phase 2 release plan is available here to download as a Microsoft Word document for your information so that you can see our progress against the schedule. The major constraint for us is the availability of the CfH timetable for NHS live Spine, therefore the summary is as follows:
Currently testing against the CfH Message Test Harness

we plan to enter NHS CfH sandpit at the beginning of August 2008

NHS CfH Witness Testing during October 2008

First of Type deployment November 2008 (in line with NHS CfH timetable for live spine)
Further initial sites December 2008
Full Rollout commencing January 2009.
The scope of NHS requirements and the documentation required to support each solution has been an on-going process during this year and this process is entering the last couple of months with NHS issuing requirements and scoping documents and Torex providing responses, answering queries and gaining response document sign off throughout the year. This is the same for all suppliers and the availability of the spine is also a common constraint. Torex are already up with the pace and have secured the services of the UK Development Director - Rick Hughes, UK Delphi Development Manager - John Gaitens and his team and Technical Author, to assist in the project management, development, testing, QA, documentation and accreditation associated with our solution to ensure that we hit appropriate milestones

Eclipse Version 4.1.5 Release

Incorporating Electronic Controlled Drug Register, NEW Medicines Use Review and NPSA Reporting.
I am delighted to announce that we have rolled out the new version of Eclipse PMR to a few initial evaluation sites. The latest version has gone through stringent internal testing prior to release. This version will be distributed to you all in due course, once our test sites are satisfied with the program.
However, I realise that some of you are eager to install the new functionality and, therefore, I am prepared to arrange an upgrade to the latest version immediately though I must emphasise this would be prior to it being signed off by our evaluation sites.

EPS Rollout - UPDATE

Our EPS rollout is now almost complete.
We have now rolled out to most of our customers and anticipate all sites being live by the end of March 2008.
If you did not respond to the initial EPS order packs that were sent to everyone, we will be contacting you shortly to arrange your installation.

EPS Rollout - full steam ahead

Our EPS rollout is now fully underway. All customers were sent an EPS order pack and as anticipated, many orders were confirmed within a short space of time.
We have now rolled out to over 30 sites and anticipate this figure reaching 100 by the end of August 2007.
There is a waiting list now so please be patient as we are processing the orders in order.
The process itself requires us to order the N3 line and submit a user ID request to CFH. Once the line goes live we can then register a pharmacy as an end point. Then we are able to install the system and will contact you with a proposed installation date. This process does take a few weeks, so please do not be concerned if you haven't heard anything. Rest assured that if you have placed your order, we will install you as soon as we can in order of when your order was received.
