Archiving Data – 13th March 2007

There is an archive facility available. By archiving data, the speed at which you can access your eclipsePMR records is more likely to increase. It should also increase the speed at which your anti-virus software scans files on your PC.

It allows you to archive your patient history, orders & stock movements and/or Endorsements. This data can then be viewed in read only format.

We suggest archiving once a month.

For more information on how to archive, there is a quick guide in the Customer Area of our website.

Backing Up Data – 13th March 2007

Backups are an essential daily routine to ensure that your system can be recovered in the event of data loss. We may also require a copy of your backup for investigation.

A partial backup should be performed daily. This contains data specific to your patients.

A full backup should be performed weekly. This contains all the drug data and data specific to your patients.

For more information on how to back up, there is a quick guide in the Customer Area of our website.
